Kits contain the supplies and materials that are needed as well as detailed instructions that are easy to follow. There are kits for almost every type of mushroom and they can be grown year round without the climate being an issue. Some of the more popular types for indoor growth are portobello, oyster, shiitake, and morel. These most generally produce a better yield, often as much as three to five pounds, depending upon diligence in harvesting the mushrooms when ready to give room for the maturation of others.

mushroom kits and laws?

well ide like to purchase a shroom kit, sterilized jars with substrate included, and some spore syringes the thing is im assure about the laws im told purchasing it all is 100 percent legal since i live in texas but im still wondering is this true if i order all that nothing happens to me? please if someone could help me with this

How to make a Mushroom Kit last longer?

I know that once the growing mixture is inoculated with spoor, if treated properly, the mushrooms can continue for a VERY long time.

But what do you add to a mushroom kit like this:

Where can I order a pre-inoculated edible mushroom kit?

With a mushroom kit, how likely is it that I can grow Morels in the Northeast?

I see advertisements for kits to grow Morel mushrooms and they say that if you follow their directions you can grow them anywhere in the US. I understand they are especially difficult to grow. Will this work in Connecticut?
Well, what I have seen tells me to grow them outside in a 4ft by 4ft section of yard. Not inside.
